With over a decade in Art and Interior Design, Mathilde Garibaldi founded GARIBALDI STUDIO end of 2021 to bring her inner world to life.
Her designs pull inspiration from everywhere, Mary Oliver’s poetry, the Italian Renaissance, abstract art, and the natural elements she’s constantly drawn to, like the moon and the sea.
For Mathilde, her sensitivity is her superpower. When words fall short in expressing the rush of emotions and ideas, she turns to patterns. It’s how she translates her sensations into colors, shapes, and textures. Every pattern captures a moment, a detail, and brings it to life in a way that feels personal and true.
Her move from Marseille to Berlin changed everything. The warmth of the Mediterranean meets Berlin’s raw energy in her work. Two very different places, yet they both share a vibrancy that can push you to create if you’re passionate and committed.
